Like the Slave Drones, he was a bit annoying to paint- but I'm glad I didn't succumb and dry brush him.

Infinity AAR: 300 points: MAF vs Qapu Khalqi: "The Heist"

This was the subsequent game to the MAF vs Nomad match at the local gaming club.

The night was getting on, so we didn't change the table terrain but my opponent luckily had a second army ready to play.  (A second army)!

We chose a new scenario played at CanCon 2013 called "The Heist".

Kurgat Engineer Mk12: "Titus"

Let me reach for my wallet….

This is a Kurgat Engineer.  He is a useful specialist, TAG repairer, mine layer and he's cheap!  In the expensive army of the Morat Aggression Forces- that counts for a lot.

Although he looks like he's armed with an antimaterial rifle (and toting it one handed!) it's actually a higher calibre assault rifle.

Infinity AAR: 300 pts: MAF vs. Nomads: Battle for District 11

Destroy the space monkeys!!!

I had my third game of Infinity over the weekend at the local gaming club of which I became the newest member!

This was a 300 point game between my Morat Aggression Force and a generic Nomad list that my opponent brought along to teach me the rules.  

I had an awesome time- learned heaps- and special thank you to my opponent who graciously took time from drilling me into the ground to teach on the fly.  And another special thank you to KFC who took the photos- and got into trouble with the wife for staying out late playing with toys!

The scenario was a variation of seize the beacons- with the beacons spread out in a diagonal across the table- each beacon in the deployment zones being worth 1 point and a 2 point one in the centre.  There were no points for killing the enemy!

Morat Vanguard Hacker: "Seneca"

Seneca is a Morat Vanguard Hacker.  A poverty hacker of peace (translation: poor stat line hacker specialist who doesn't even do his specialty job that well).

But at least he looks like he lifts.

And my paint job wiped that goofy looking smile off his face!!!

I was so over painting these guys I was super happy to see it done.

My first Hungry.  For only 5 points a piece for a mine laying close combat scourge- they are a bargain.  A real pain to put together (you'll need lots of superglue, araldyte and patience) but once assembled, they look very dynamic.

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope everyone has had a safe and happy New Year's holiday.  I've successfully avoided the post Christmas sales, dodged the crowds of New Year's and been happily plugging away on my latest miniature.
