So this is Cicero, a Yaogat armed with a bog standard sniper rifle.  His MSV2 goggles are perched up on his forehead and he has an earnest expression on his face.  Something is definitely making him pause and think a bit.

Morat Rasyat: Suetonius

This is an Assault Marine Morat Rasyat "Diplomat".  He is equipped with a jet pack and armed with a trusty rifle and a wicked looking kukri.  

Daturazi Witch Soldier: Nero

Unstable… metaphorically and literally.

The Daturazi Witch Soldiers are an elite close combat unit.  They are Impetuous and (in game terms) some of the cheapest Morats around.  Rather peculiar for an elite unit.  Most Morat army lists have are maxed out with Witches as a result- I'll have to get another two to complete the collection.

Morat Aggression Force Sogarat: "Invictus"

I'd like to introduce Invictus.  He is a Sogarat- a Morat power armoured infantryman.  He is armed with a big gun (HMG) and a Big Axe.  He reminds me of a Space Marine actually.  His armour is thick and is powered by lots of cabling that glows.  Yes, he clearly isn't much good at sneaking up on people at night, but hey- since when were giant axes close combat weapons of choice in a world of high powered assault weapons.

Infinity AAR 2: MAF vs ALEPH

This was the second game I played versus KFC a few weeks ago.  I normally try and write these up as soon as I can while the memories are still fresh but life got in the way (as usual!) so now I'm trying to scrape together my vague recollections prompted by the photos that I took.

So I finished another Morat Vanguard this week- the heavy machine gunner- who I've called Bacchus. He wasn't too bad to finish since I'd already ironed out the colour scheme for the Vanguard infantry.

Morat Vanguard Infantry #3: Quintus

I finally finished off another Vanguard this morning.  It has (once again) been a busy week with work and post grad stuff.  If nothing else, Quintus demonstrates that putting in a half hour here and there- consistently- over time leads to a finished model.

Infinity AAR #1- MAF vs ALEPH

We played the Infinity starter scenario over the weekend.  It was 160 points and a blast to play with plenty of action, tension and the game always in the balance right up until the last turn.

For the uninitiated, the starter scenario is based around the capture of three objectives spaced equally apart in the centre of the battlefield.  Each objective is worth a whopping 75 points.  Killing enemies also nets you points but it is secondary to capturing the objectives.  There is a 4 turn limit (maybe it's 3 turn limit) on the game meaning that hiding and sniping isn't really an option!

I brought my Morats and my mate (aka KFC) brought along his ALEPH.  The EI and the AI were going to thrash it out!
