Spetsnaz: Sniper Rifle

Sniper rifle.

Another great looking sculpt that I finished at the same time as the Boarding Shotgun model.

I do prefer the HMG version- 4 attack dice are always better than 2- but there is sometimes a need to get that -12 modifier on an enemy total reaction remote and this guy does the job for TAK.

Now this model was an absolute pleasure to paint.

Crisp edges, minimal skin, interesting details all melded together to make an excellent sculpt.

Grrrr.

It was supposed to be an easy model to paint with very little in the way of teeny tiny details.

But like all things that look simple- it turned into a painful experience.
