Nothing quite like painting the same model for a second time.

With two USAriadna grunt support weapon packs, I figured I might as well paint the second LGL in Kazak colours and say it "counts as" a Kazak LGL.

BLUF: 4^th out of 16- sabotaged myself by not reading mission scoring.  One minor victory should have been a major and one minor victory WAS a major but not recorded as such (read how the bloody missions score before submitting forms!!) and my one loss could have been mitigated. 

My poor mission comprehension cost myself a podium spot.

Never again!

The reports are based on memory with the help of some photos gleaned from the Infinity Australia Facebook page.  There will be inconsistences (especially with the photos which were taken at different rounds of the tournament when terrain had been adjusted) that I hope I’ve been able to get around with some labeling.  Knowing how unreliable my memory is, I’ve tried to record it all as accurately as possible but don’t be surprised if some the details don’t add up- the report will really only give you a gist of what happened.

Enemy vs Mission Concept In List Generation

- failed to appreciate the CONTEXTUAL element in the idea of fighting power
- not just the conceptual- i.e. USARF is good at cheap attrition
- not just the physical element- i.e. this model has this profile and is used in this way (CONTEXT changes it's use and thus its importance).

Blackjack T2 Sniper Rifle: Double Edition

Exotic ammo type for the total immune amongst you!

It's been a while!  I've been painting away furiously and getting some games in.  

I can't remember exactly when the thought of running double sniper Blackjacks in a single list would be a good thing (... I think it was for The Grid mission)- but I've had a Blackjack mouldering in a corner for almost a year.

It's always very cool to go back to a sculpt that you've painted before and then paint it again and see how much you've improved.

I have three USA starter sets... and considering Grunts are my staple unit, I better get them painted.

Grunt: Heavy Flamer 2

That look when you fail your inferior infiltration roll

I need to stop proxying the Marauder as an infiltrating Grunt.  

Especially since they are going to have to be my go to Classified guys.

Since I had a second starter box- I decided to do that standard Minuteman again.

After all, with a bit of experience- it should be easier right?

Apart from the fiddly arm positioning- he went together well.  Probably my favourite model of the bunch.

I finished a batch of Minutemen quite some time ago.  It was a chore. 

And it also doesn't help they they never see the table in a standard game of Infinity either.

Love this model.  A fitting replacement for the Gecko that has subbed in for so long.

I had this figure done for some time but never got around to basing it.

Maverick- Molotok

Close range... better switch to pistols.

I promise myself I'll never do another bike again. 

I finished this fellow off to go with his matching pair from the box.  Mavericks don't get a lot of play from me though having painted a bunch of bikes now I might make a biker force and see how many survive the headlong rush at the enemy!

Foxtrot- Shotgun

Keep this for close encounters.

I've developed a healthy appreciation for Foxtrots.  Used primarily as the Forward Observer specialist for button pushing- they also double as artillery spotters- which is supremely useful for taking out big targets that I just don't want to face.

They are AVA4 in USAriadna and it was time I pushed this AVA to its limit.
